Wrexham win at Nuneaton

Wrexham come off a good win over rivals Nuneaton and visited Liberty Stadium where they took on a basic Nuneaton side who were yet to pick 3 points so far this season.

Wrexham looked on top from the off when they went close after just 9 minutes. Magebi's long kick found Hetherington on the half way line who played a neat pass to Ade Azeez. A on fire Joe Anyinsah made a beautiful run and a stunning pass found him but sadly Joe's shot was straight at the keeper.

But Anyinsah's miss didnt stop him and 2 minutes later Brett ormerod and Keates played some attracting football before finding Wright with lots of space who passed to an unmarked Joe Anyinsah who had an easy finish to give Wrexham the lead.

It took 16 minutes before Nuneaton even showed intrest in the game with a tame effort. Angol made a good run down the left hand side skipping Wright and Aniynsah before finding Pearson on the edge of the box. Pearson panicked and flew a shot well over the bar.

20 minutes struck and so did Anyinsah again. After some good work from Anyinsah of the left hand side Azeez's shot smacked the bar before a scramble saw the ball go for a corner. A inswiging corner from David Artell found Anyinsah who burried his 2nd goal of the game.

In the second half Nuneaton went close so early when straight from kick off Angol ran straight down the wing and found ever present Pearson who cross to Sub at half time striker Brown who's shot was well saved by Megebi.

In the 61st minute saw Mark Carrington have a corner that was whipped in to the box towards N'Tame who's header was well saved before a follow up of Omerod found David Artell who tapped hom to give Wrexham a 3-1 lead.

Just 3 minutes later Taylor got a goal back for Nuneaton when a end to end game saw Hornsley long ball confuse N'Tame and Taylor easily passed the keeper to give Nuneaton a lifeline in the game.

Just after the h70th minute Magebi was adjudged to handle the ball outside the box. The freekick was cleared by Anyinsah to John Shaw on debut but he couldnt keep his call as the striker's effort went high over the stand.

no less than 2 mintues later and Magebi was sent off for the exact same reason. Again he handels at the edge of the box and from the resulting freekick saw Brown flash home from outside the box to make game on. But Wrexham held on and move to 3rd in the league.

Wrexham Rival Battle With Chester.

Wrexham climb into the play offs spots after Victory over rivals Chester at the Racecourse Ground. Coming from 2-0 down to win the game 3-2 with some super Subs from Dan Finch and his backroom staff.

It took 10 minutes for Wrexham to do their usuall when Chester took advantage when Craig Linfield picked up the ball off Mark Carrington on the half way line and played a top quality through ball to Lloyd who finished of the chance brilliantly to give Chester the advantage.

Five minutes later it got much worse for Wrexham when Chester scored their second goal of the game when Jamie Reed manages to nick the ball off David Artell who then rounded Rob Burch to make it 2-0. Wrexham at that time were playing like a side short of confidence.

At Half time Wrexham made a triple substitution bringing on Anyinsah,Carrington and Ciezlewicz to try and change the performance of the Welsh side and to try and give the fans something to cheer about.

7 minutes into second half of the game Brett Omerod made a brake down the right hand side after being moved to the wing from upfront saw him beat 2 defenders before pulling back for Stephen Hetherington who bagged his first goal since joining from Celtic Nation in the summer.

Straight after that goal  Ade Azeez and Mark Carrington played some good football before Joe Anyinsah  made a clever run past 3 defenders before his shot was brilliantly saved by the keeper. Chester were struggling to hold the threat of Wrexham

Wrexham lost their unbeaten run away at Lincoln City when the Imps became the first side to beat Wrexham this season by 2 goals to 1.

Wrexham went close in a game with 4 chances when David Artell fell on the edge of the box to give Wrexham a freekick. The resulting Shot from striker Joe Anyinsah hit the upright before being tapped home by Ade Azeez only for the linesman to give the Charlton loanie an offside call to disappoint the traveling fans.

But sadly the only other chance in a very boring game fell to Bunce who finished off a  back pass from Michael Dubbery to give the Imps the wing in what could be classes as the dullest game of the season in the Skrill Premier

Second Half Wrexs Hyde.

A second half display of class from Wrexham gave Dan Finch his first 3 points of the season as Wrexham moev to 8th just outside the play offs and remain unbeaten in the League.

6 minutes in and yet again a poor start from the Skrill Premier outfit saw Hyde take the lead at home from Carlton after Mainwaring was brought down by Dubbery and whipped in a freekick to find Carlton early on.

A quite first half again from The Red dragons saw their first shot 43 Minutes into the game when Dean Kearns shot sails wide from 35 yards without really troubling the keeper or any of the defenders.

Half Time Dan Finch changed the Wrexham side slightly changing a 4-4-2 with a 4-3-3 when Ade Azeez replaced Harris and Omerod moved off the wing to become the centere of the 3 with Azeez and Mclure either side of him.

Almond went close for Hyde when his brake saw him shoot wide after a brilliant through ball from Carlton went very close to shutting up shop for Hyde.

Counter attacking football saw Carrington find Ade Azeez who passed to McClure whos shot was well saved by the keeper but sadly for Hyde Ex Lincoln Left Back Peter Gilbert was on hand to finish the chance to give Wrexham their way back into the game.

10 minutes later Wrexham Struck again when another counter attack from Carrington found Azeez who ran passed two defenders before feeding Gilbert who's cross found the rushing Brett Omerod who headed home again to continue his goal scoring form.

just 4 minutes later Wrexham and Azeez killed of the tie when Mark Carrington continued to show some excellent vision to slip Ade Azeez who found the chance to slip past the keeper to score his first competitive goal ever.

ANOTHER DRAW FOR WREXHAM

Same old, Same old for Wrexham who came away from Tamworth with another draw.

A change of formation for Wrexham who went for a 4-3-2-1 with Omerod up front with Ade Azeez dropping to the Bench and being replaced by loanie Medy Elito.

Despite the changes yet again a bad start for The North Wales side when Tamworth netted early Wright's corner found Rose at the front post who muscled past Artell to find the back of the net to give Tamworth a lead after 17th minute.

31 minutes into the game and Wrexham were level, Neil Ashton throw in found Dubbery who played a lovely ball down the left side to find Gibson who drilled a cross low across the floor to find Brett Omerod who tapped in to score his second goal of the season and give Wrexham the equaliser.

In the second half despite Wrexham having the majority of possession they failed to make as many chances as Tamworth. Straight after half time Wright's corner again causing problems bouncing once before mogebi managed to push it round the post to stop worrying the Wrexham fans.

72 minutes and Wright was at it again this time his shot saved after same great work from Jones who robbed Harris and broke past Dubbery before providing Wright who's shot was saved easily. The Resulting Corner saw Harris clear of the line from Jones.

In the 78th minute Wrexham had their chance to take the lead when Magebi long kick was flicked on by Omerod and Ade Azeez couldnt squeeze it under neath the keeper and the shot was saved.

Tamworth almost robbed the points late as Elford Alliyu shot went over the bar in the 91st minute of the game. Wrexham still unbeaten after 3 games but no wins.
